Brooke House College
The course is constructed carefully to give each and every student the opportunity to improve his or her English whilst, at the same time, taking advantage of living in Central London. As well as the benefits that come with living in the capital city of the United Kingdom, by living and studying together, the course encourages students to speak English with one another and to experience one another’s cultures.
Being based in Central London gives us ample opportunity to get out
and explore the city and British Culture. Included into the course are
two evenings dedicated to the study of British Culture.
The evenings will follow a weekly theme, with one session set as a lecture on the weekly topic and the other as a ‘practical’ session. This could include evening walking tours, visiting attractions or cooking. Topics for British Culture sessions include - Jack the Ripper, Royal London, British Movies, British Food and Haunted London.
