Epsom College is a co-educational independent school in the town of Epsom in Surrey, in Southern England, for pupils aged 13 to 18. Founded in 1853 as a boys' school to provide support for poor members of the medical profession such as pensioners and orphans ("Foundationers"), Epsom's long-standing association with medicine was estimated in 1980 as having helped almost a third of its 10,000 alumni enter that profession.The college caters for both boarding and day pupils. The headmaster is a member of the Headmasters' Conference. The college's patron is HM The Queen. The Good Schools Guide called the school "consistently among top schools in the South East", adding that it is "very social".

A Cosy Campus
Inviting and friendly are the terms usually used to describe Epsom. This makes it particularly appealing to the younger age group studying for the Trinity exam. Most bedrooms on campus are single or twin. There are also some 3-5 bed rooms available.
The school is justly proud of its new state-of-the-art studios for music, drama, film and dance. Lighting, sound and multi-media facilities here are up to the highest professional standards.
Students prepare for the Trinity examination at grade 1-9 (beginner to upper intermediate). These grades are aligned to levels pre A1-C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The exam fee is £45 and is in addition to course fee.
Students have the opportunity to mix and make friends with English boys and girls of a similar age. There’ll be one School Friend in each class at these centres, assisting students in the learning process. They’ll have lunch with the students, join in the afternoon activities on campus and go on half-day excursions during the week. It’s an ideal way for students to speak English naturally with English teenagers throughout the day.

Facilities
The campus may be relatively compact, but there is no shortage of facilities. There is a large sports centre with two sports halls, squash courts and a 25 metre indoor swimming pool. You'll also find 18 tennis courts, an indoor shooting range and extensive games fields in 32 hectares of magnificent grounds.
