As one of the best known Independent Schools in Britain and we are considered to be one of the world’s most prestigious International Summer Schools. Each year, 250 boys and girls travel to Gordonstoun from all over the world. Since the Summer School began in 1976, around 7000 students have attended these exciting courses from over 60 countries. Student's priorities are fun, excitement and challenge with lots of different things to do. This trip can help them to meet boys and girls from around the world and make good and long lasting friendships. Gordonstoun aims to present an integrated, challenging and enjoyable summer programme. 2010 is the 35th year of the International Summer School courses here and the programme aims to capture the balance and challenge of the Gordonstoun philosophy inspired by the Founder, Dr. Kurt Hahn. A full programme of social and leisure activities is arranged, including Academic, Creative Arts, Confidence Building and Drama, Adventure, Recreation, and sports tournaments.

English course is offered in Advance/ Intermediate/ Elementary levels
Students will be tested to ensure that they are assigned to the correct class.

Sailing the school's fleet of ocean going yachts around the Western Isles.
Alternative to English speakers (French).
Students will be accommodated in the school boarding house where they will be guided and looked after by housemasters, housemistresses and resident assistant staff. There will be no smoking or drinking of alcohol as this is contrary to the education aims of the course.
The School's doctor will be available throughout the whole course together with qualified nursing staff.
