Learning English in a beautiful rural setting and enjoy adventure activities, country life and exciting trips away. The course is especially for 7 – 16 year olds with excellent pastoral care. Feed our friendly farm animals and learn about the natural environment. All trained staff (all police vetted) are passionate about what they do - guests don't want to go home!
English lessons for 1 ½ hours per day for 11 days with qualified teacher.
Half hour diary homework in the evenings.

The 130 metre long twin flying foxes are the newest activity to be built at the Lodge. All Staff are delighted with the safety and high standard of the professionally built flying foxes achieved by Karl Ratahi of Project Adventure NZ. These flying foxes are unique in NZ flying over water. It is the culmination of a long term dream to have a flying fox at the Lodge. And it is even better to have not one but two!
The river is a gentle one suitable for beginning kayakers. Instructor teaches students all skills necessary to have a great time. The more adventurous can kayak out to the lake - Lake Whangape where students can view the local bird life up close. They may even catch a koi carp on the river.
Visit Te Puia with geysers & boiling mud pools & see a traditional NZ Maori concert, go high up the mountain in a gondola and race down on the thrilling luge, ride the Amphibian Duck tour to learn the history of Rotorua in & out of the water, enjoy traditional NZ fish & chips on the lakefront.
Tour around the beautiful waterfront with views of the Harbour Bridge and volcanic Rangitoto. Walk on One Tree Hill, a dormant volcano. Visit Auckland Museum to learn about NZ indigenous Maori culture and watch a realistic volcano eruption. Go shopping at an Auckland mall.
Visit the movie set of the Lord of the Rings and Hobbiton Have a picnic overlooking Middle Earth, browse the Hobbiton shop, then journey a short distance to view the spectacular Wairere Falls Finish with a swim at the Te Aroha hot springs.
