WellS Music Summer School 2019

英國Wells Cathedral School 的音樂學校每年都會舉辦暑期音樂週供世界各地的學生參加，每天均有單對單的樂器練習及樂團訓練，與其他學生交流及演出，讓小朋友發展音樂才能之餘，亦可以體驗英國寄宿學校的生活和文化。

INTERNATIONAL PIANO WEEK

Young pianists (aged 11 – 18) will develop the skills required for the 21st century classical pianist and in addition will explore a wide range of genres including chamber music, musical theater, orchestral, jazz, keyboard and dance accompaniment.

We would recommend that musicians have reached grade 5 standard, have a desire to try different areas of music making and are open to new ideas.

International Wind, brass & percussion week

World-class tutors will nurture young musicians (aged 10-18) to develop their skills and confidence by exploring a range of exciting musical styles.

This course isn’t suitable for complete beginners –
you will need a basic ability to play your instrument and read music.

Date: 28th July – 3rd August 2019

international string week

World-class tutors will nurture young musicians (aged 8-18) to develop their skills and confidence on Violin, Viola, Cello & Double Bass by taking part in exciting musical activities, including string orchestra, chamber music and individual lessons.

All abilities welcome.

Date: 4th August – 10th August 2019

international jazz week

World-class tutors will nurture musicians (aged 13-18) to develop their jazz and improvisation skills within a creative and supportive environment.

We recommend that musicians have reached grade 5 standard and have some experience of playing jazz and improvising.

Fees
The course costs £895 residential and £695 non-residential. The course includes meals (lunch and dinner for non-residential).
